These operating rooms are located in the third floor operating room suite in the Kagan building at EMMC. The project scope included installing a new medical gas vacuum system as well as updating the medical gas outlets in the walls and ceiling. Special Project Considerations
This project was complicated because the upgrading of eight operating rooms, two at a time, was accomplished while the surrounding operating suites remained fully functional. Our crew members had to use the utmost caution to not disrupt the surrounding environment during construction. The workers had to make sure that the construction was done in a quiet and clean manner.
